ROC: Isolated Sangha region falls off the map

Although this does not specifically mention indigenous peoples, Sangha and Likouala are the two departments of the Republic of Congo with the greatest populations of indigenous peoples. The article explores the link between accessibility and health, but one thing to also consider is that roads which improve access also increase pressure on forest resources and traditional forest-centered peoples.
